  2. galaxy containing 3 sets of spiral arms. 
  3. This is a speedy character, moving
  4. away from us at a rate of 620 
  5. miles/second. M77 is also a source of 
  6. radio emissions known as "3C71". It is 
  7. about 100,000 light years in diameter 
  8. and has the luminosity of around 35 
  9. billion suns.
